About the job

We are looking for a communicator for the communications unit. In the unit, we work both strategically and operationally to support management and employees in internal and external communication issues that are prioritized based on Digg's mission, goals, and deliveries.

As a communicator, you will:

• write and publish texts such as news articles, press releases, presentations, web content on digg.se and our intranet
• work strategically and operationally with Digg's social channels
• plan and conduct webinars
• act as communication support in assignments that develop digital services for the public sector

About you

To succeed and thrive in this role, you need to have the following competencies, knowledge, and experience:

Competencies

• Collaboration skills - you listen, communicate, and can give and receive feedback in a constructive way. You approach tasks with curiosity and focus on your and others' learning
• Structured - you plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively. You set and adhere to deadlines.

Knowledge

• Good knowledge of producing news articles, press releases, web content, and short messages in our social channels.
• Independently plan, implement, follow up, and further develop communication efforts
• Knowledge of the laws, guidelines, and standards that public actors' websites must comply with.
• You have very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English. This means you express yourself both in writing and orally in a pedagogical way so that the recipient understands and the red thread is maintained. You can present both oral and written information at meetings or other forums both internally and externally. You are a good writer with the ability to shape messages, clarify and communicate complex information.

Experience

Requirements

• Experience in qualified communication work over the past three years
• Experience in planning and conducting webinars
• Experience in publishing on social media for an employer
• Experience in web publishing in Sitevision

Meritorious

• Experience with agile working methods
• Experience in web analytics in Matomo

Education

You have an academic education in media and communication studies of at least three years or other experience that the employer assesses as equivalent.

About Digg and what we offer

Digg is an authority that works broadly to support and coordinate the digitalization of the Swedish public administration. We develop digital infrastructure and services that help other public actors in their digitalization. We also ensure that digital public services are accessible to all.

When we are in Digg's premises, we are at the headquarters in central Sundsvall in modern activity-based premises or in a smaller and modern office in central Stockholm. We are positively inclined to provide space for remote work based on the needs of the business and the employee, but it is expected that you are in the office at least one day a week and when the work requires it.

Possible organizational change

In order to strengthen the digitalization work, the government has tasked Digg and the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS) with proposing how our two authorities could merge into one. The report was submitted to the government on March 14, and we are now awaiting a decision on whether an organizational change will be implemented. Our work to digitalize Sweden continues, and we hope you want to be part of the journey.
